In 2010, some athletes from Tangerhütte considered further developing the running tradition established during the summer Tangerlauf back in the GDR era and conducting competitions in the beautiful city park amidst the autumn atmosphere. The organizers from SV Germania Tangerhütte have included 4 distances in the announcement: for the young talents, 1.1 km around the idyllic Spiegelsee, for the youth a larger loop of 2.9 km, and for adults, distances of 5.4 km (2 laps) and 10.3 km (4 laps) as part of the EOC ranking. In the finish area, there will be grilled food, refreshing beverages, fruit, as well as coffee and cake.
